Whille attempting to get Minikit #2 on Mount Doom, Gollum got stuck behind the lava flow and kept falling off into the ether under the level.Below you appears to be white "nothingness" that (when you swing your sword down) cracks like ice.Here's the link to the YouTube footage: When you look "up" you can see Frodo repeatedly falling into the water above you. It reminded me of the "negative world" in the original Super Mario Bros.
The character of Madril fell off of a platform and entered a weird "bizarro" that was seemingly underwater.
"The biggest discovered so far occurs when you're in the Dead Marshes. While Fighting Gollum near the end of Mount Doom, I got stuck in something on the left of the lava flow and couldn't change characters to pelt Gollum with a rock. In the final area of Cirith Ungol, I got stuck in the fence just to the left of the left hand climbing rope to access the upper level. In the second area of Weathertop, in the doorway where the Blacksmith Design is, I got stuck behind the rocks that fell from the ceiling. As such, it would seem there is some kind of bug in the game engine that causes this. All the LEGO games since then use the same game engine. (Crashes where the whole screen locks, the music and sounds stop, and you have to (gasp!) get up and go hit the reset button on the console.) This seems to happen at random, and has happened since LEGO Indiana Jones 2. Note that this does NOT include whole-game crashes.
